Bunnybass.com has stopped making or selling basses; what's odd is that they've switched to a scheme to try to sell pictures of basses. Bizarre. As we know, bassists are all fabulously wealthy and would be keen lavish money on photos of their fetish objects.

I have it, I'm 41 and I love it! It's a great punk guitar. It matches my Hello Kitty Microphone stand. (A Hello Kitty steering wheel cover on a steering wheel attached to my microphone stand) It comes with a pink Hello Kitty gig bag as well. Which you can barely see behind my other cases in the photo on the above link.

Okay, I went to sanrio.com and from there to the official Sanrio Store at Yahoo.
No guitars, but I did find these Hello Kitty dumbells so you can be as buff as Hello Kitty. I guess.
The store didn't have the new products up for July yet so I suppose we should all check back in a week or two.

What a cool discussion. My Hello Kitty fan club was just talking about these the other day. These are the CoOlest guitars. The fender and that strat are so ugly though and they look cheap and aren't really true Sanrio guitars. After alot of research I bought the polkadot fernandez because I actually needed to be able to play the guitar in my band. Even my guitar teacher loves the sound of it. Sure it costs more than the fenders but it will last longer and be way more collectible in 20 years. Think how many fenders are out there -- thousands!! T hink how many fernandez real made in Japan ones are out there -- not too many. I did a google search for Hello kitty guitar and bought mine through here:

I was checking out Jackson Randy Rhodes guitars at the music store, then the sales guy heard me playing (i play shred and metal sorta stuff). So he reaches up and takes this silly little black guitar off the shelf with a Hello Kitty pickguard. he says "try this one" And i laughed. I laughed and said "Dude. Come on. It's a squier and it's got freakin' hello kitty on it." So i played it through a number of different amplifiers. (for you guitar geeks, i played through a Mesa Boogie dual rectifier, a Soldano, and a Fender Hot Rod Deville). It had a great crunchy sound that sounded not unlike the Van Halen "brown" sound. Well, i ended up buying one. I shall be customizing it greatly. But i bought one. I look forward to playing a gig with it next Tuesday. And should it break like the previous comment complains about, no worries. Swap out the pickup. It's very easy to make a bad guitar sound good. I will be doing a COMPLETE overhaul on the guitar. The only thing i won't alter is the pickguard. My buddy wants to put a pinstriped custom paint job on it, i want to change the bridge, neck and pickup. It's gonna be the most heavy metal Hello Kitty guitar you've ever seen.
